BIOECONOMY RESEARCH ACTION PLAN WORKSHOP HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BANJA LUKA

A workshop dedicated to the development of an Action Plan for Bioeconomy Research was held on February 12, 2026, at the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka, as part of the BEAMING project.

The workshop successfully bridged the gap between theory and practice by gathering a diverse group of stakeholders, including members of the academic community, public institution representatives, industry leaders, and civil society organizations. The primary focus was to strengthen collaborative bonds and define the strategic priorities that will drive the bioeconomy sector forward.

BEAMING PROJECT FEATURED ON

SERBIAN NATIONAL TELEVISION

The BEAMING project was featured on Serbian national television in the programme “The Importance of Innovation in Education – Electronic Mission”, Episode 31, broadcast on 5 February 2026. The project was presented by Jovana Kisin from EDUCONS University, highlighting BEAMING’s contribution to advancing innovation and digital approaches in education.

EDUCONS UNIVERSITY PERFROMS INTERVIEWS TO STRENGTHEN THE KNOWLEDGE VALORIZATION PRACTICES

During December 2025, the University Educons successfully conducted a series of interviews with key institutional stakeholders within the BEAMING project, aimed at strengthening institutional capacities for knowledge valorisation and technology transfer. The interviews were carried out within the Knowledge Valorization activities and represent an important step in assessing existing practices, challenges, and development needs of the University in this area.

CONFERENCES & EVENTS

BEAMING AT THE CHRISTMAS RESEARCH INNOVATION GREEN STREET FESTIVAL

On December 22, 2025, the BEAMING Project was presented at the Christmas Research Innovation Green Street Festival, held at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad and organised by the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Agriculture (UNSFA). The event brought together 30 research and innovation projects, both national and international, showcased in an interactive and festive atmosphere. BEAMING was among the selected projects, highlighting its contribution to advancing bio-based innovation and the bioeconomy through sustainable research and market-oriented solutions.

• D5.1 Report on bioeconomy Quadruple Helix Innovation ecosystems  - It provides a comprehensive review of the needs and priorities of QH stakeholders in Widening Countries represented in the BEAMING consortium, so that bioeconomy research and education activities performed by Partner HEIs can be aligned with them.

• D5.2 Report on Institutional Practices in Bioeconomy Research - It provides a comprehensive review of research policies, procedures, and practices of partner institutions, with a particular focus on bioeconomy-related research and its tangible societal and economic impact-

• D5.3 Report on capacity building in bioeconomy research - It includes all relevant information related to the design, development, and implementation of the BEAMING Bioeconomy Research Training Programme.
