BEAMING HOLDS ITS ANNUAL MEETING IN NOVI SAD

From 12 to 14 May 2026, the BEAMING consortium gathered in Novi Sad, Serbia, for the project’s Annual Meeting, hosted by the University of Novi Sad (Agriculture Faculty). The event brought together all project partners to review progress, align upcoming activities, and strengthen collaboration across the consortium. Over the three days, partners discussed key areas of the project, including knowledge valorisation, bioeconomy research cooperation, Communities of Practice, inclusive innovation culture, dissemination and communication, and the future development of the BEAMING Alliance.

BEAMING SPRING SCHOOL IN BUCHAREST ABOUT KNOWLEDGE VALORISATION

|
From April 15 to April 17, 2026, BEAMING partners and the Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest held the Spring School on Knowledge Valorisation in Bioeconomy Research in Bucharest, Romania. The three-day programme brought together experts, researchers and stakeholders to explore how research results can be translated into societal and economic value within the European bioeconomy framework.

EDUCONS UNIVERSITY PERFORMS INTERVIEWS TO STRENGTHEN THE KNOWLEDGE VALORIZATION PRACTICES
|

|
|
|
During December 2025, the University Educons successfully conducted a series of interviews with key institutional stakeholders within the BEAMING project, aimed at strengthening institutional capacities for knowledge valorisation and technology transfer. The interviews were carried out within the Knowledge Valorization activities and represent an important step in assessing existing practices, challenges, and development needs of the University in this area.

EDUCONS UNIVERSITY IN THE
BEAMING BIOECONOMY EXHIBITION
|
|
|
|
|
As part of the BEAMING Knowledge Valorisation Week, the project organised the BEAMING Online Bioeconomy Exhibition to showcase good practices, innovative approaches and knowledge valorisation initiatives in the field of bioeconomy. EDUCONS University actively participated with three contributions highlighting its experience in circular bioeconomy, research valorisation and innovation. Two of them focused on circular economy good practices in Serbia’s bioeconomy sector and on the role of the Educons Technology Transfer Hub as an organisational innovation supporting knowledge valorisation, institutional cooperation, and the practical use of research results. BEAMING TAKES PART IN THE TALLHEDA CLUSTERING EVENT ON SUSTAINABLE AGRI-FOOD AND BIOECONOMY TRANSFORMATION

|
On 16 March 2026, BEAMING took part in the online TALLHEDA Clustering Event, entitled “From Skills to Solutions: Enabling Sustainable Agri-Food and Bioeconomy Transformation through Education, Digital Tools and Ecosystems.” The session brought together EU projects, higher education institutions, VET providers, research organisations and industry actors working at the intersection of digital agriculture, sustainability and skills development, with the shared goal of supporting the green and digital transition of the agri-food sector. Representing BEAMING, Alina Butu and Aniko Feher delivered an overview of the project, presenting its main objectives and overall approach. They also highlighted BEAMING’s work in the area of Knowledge Valorisation, where the project is currently developing a training module aimed at strengthening knowledge transfer and supporting the uptake of innovative solutions across agri-food and bioeconomy ecosystems.
