During the session, participants will receive detailed information about the objectives of Open Call I, the BIOECONOMY BOOTCAMP programme, the eligibility and evaluation criteria and the application process for obtaining travel vouchers. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the consortium partners and receive additional technical and procedural information to assess the opportunity and prepare the application.

Where we’ve been recently
BIOECONOMY GIANTS was showcased at BIOKET – Bioeconomy Key Enabling Technologies platform, where from FOOD+i - Cluster Alimentario del Valle del Ebro highlighted project activities and impact.
On 13 March 2026, FOOD+i - Cluster Alimentario del Valle del Ebro also represented GIANTS at “Sector Primario Circular” in Lleida, promoting the circular bioeconomy through the valorisation of agricultural, livestock, and forestry by-products.

Our coordinator participated at the SCALE FAST: Accelerating Startup Growth in the Bioeconomy, that featured a practical presentation to showcase Pilots4U as a free European platform that helps innovators find pilot and demonstration facilities for scale-up. The session also connected participants with the funding opportunities offered by BIOECONOMY GIANTS and GRAPPA to support testing, validation, and scale-up processes.
CIRCE participated in the FOCAL European Clustering Event, a three-day initiative bringing together European projects, public authorities, companies, and innovation actors working on climate change mitigation and adaptation through digital technologies, climate services, and data-driven solutions.During the event, CIRCE presented the BIOECONOMY GIANTS concept, including the upcoming Open Calls I and II!

Our partners from Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant will participate in the International Spring School in Belgium (June 16th–17th), where renowned scientists and industry leaders will explore the latest advances in AgTech, with a particular focus on digital tools and biosolutions, including biostimulants, biocontrol, and biofertilisers.

Synergies
To promote collaboration, knowledge exchange, and efficient use of resources, BIOECONOMY GIANTS continues to strengthen synergies with other EU-funded projects. To date, eleven projects have been linked to the initiative: BOOST4BIOEAST, BBioNets, C4B, BEATLES, BRILIAN, CUBIC, MAINSTREAM BIO, PRIMARY, thERBN, BIO-INSPIRE and GRAPPA!
