Spring is in the air and so is fresh momentum in our programme!

Preparations for our upcoming conference “From Results to Impact: Cooperation Takes Synergies Forward” are progressing well. Our monitoring committee has approved our next call for proposals, with a preview already available on our website. Meanwhile, the assessment of third call proposals has entered the next phase, with shortlisted projects now invited to hearings. We are also pleased to share a new joint brochure showcasing the impact of transnational cooperation and we encourage you to take part in the ongoing consultations shaping the future EU budget.

Call preview: Strategic call for capitalisation

With our next and final call, we invite organisations from across central Europe to submit transnational cooperation ideas for strategic projects for capitalisation. The call is designed to leverage existing results of transnational and cross-border projects, to maximise the impact of Interreg across central Europe. With an indicative ERDF budget of €23 million, project proposals can be submitted under all programme priorities and specific objectives. 

Conference: From results to impact

On 27 May 2025, we are bringing the Interreg community together in Vienna for our conference “From Results to Impact: Cooperation Takes Synergies Forward.”

This one-day event will explore how Interreg funding creates lasting impact across central Europe. We will introduce the key features of our upcoming strategic call for capitalisation and provide a platform to exchange ideas, build new partnerships and showcase results. The conference will be preceded by an evening reception on 26 May. Attendance is by invitation, contact us if you would like to join.

Third call: Next phase of the assessment underway

We are advancing with the assessment of proposals from our third call. Following desk assessment, selected project proposals have been now invited to hearings, which will take place in the coming weeks. In the hearings applicant will have an opportunity to further explain their proposals and address any questions arising from the desk assessment. They are the key step towards the final selection by our monitoring committee in autumn.

Publication: Amplifying the impact of transnational cooperation

We have joined forces together with the whole network of 13 transnational programmes to highlight how transnational cooperation strengthens European territorial cohesion. Discover the publication structured around the three core messages voicing the importance of transnational cooperation: building solidarity, driving synergies and delivering change. 

Consultation: Shape the future of EU funding

The future of EU funding is being shaped now. Make sure the voice of the Interreg community is heard! Share your perspectives in the public consultation on the EU’s next long-term budget and help advocate for the essential role of cooperation programmes in Europe’s future.
