THE BEAMING PROJECT LAUNCHES THE FIRST TRAINING MODULES
The BEAMING project offers four comprehensive training modules: Bioeconomy Research, Open Science, Knowledge Valorisation, and Inclusive Innovation Culture. The modules on Bioeconomy Research and Open Science are already available on the BEAMING website. These provide hands-on guidance on interdisciplinary methods for sustainable innovation and essential practices for open publishing, FAIR data management, and citizen science. The upcoming modules will focus on equipping researchers with tools to translate scientific results into real-world applications through Knowledge Valorisation, and to foster inclusive, creative, and collaborative research environments through the Inclusive Innovation Culture module.

KNOW THE LATEST OPEN SCIENCE ACTIVITIES
As part of the Boosting Open Science activities, BEAMING partners have established a Community of Practice (CoP) focused on supporting researchers from Central and Eastern European countries. This initiative addresses the significant gaps identified between the Open Science practices and infrastructures of these regions and those of countries with more advanced innovation systems. The CoP aims to foster greater inclusivity and accelerate the transition towards more open, collaborative research practices.
To strengthen this network, BEAMING has also initiated collaboration with the Association for European Life Science Universities (ICA-Edu LinkedIn page). This connection aims to further support widening partners and facilitate cross-regional cooperation, ensuring that the momentum for Open Science continues to grow across Central and Eastern Europe.
