Ing. Dagmar Novotná graduated in environmental protection technology at the University of Chemical Technology in Prague. She started her professional career in the chemical and engineering industry, where she was also involved in research activities. For almost twenty years she worked as an examiner in the patent department of the Industrial Property Office, where she examined patent applications and lectured at the Institute of Industrial Law Education.
In her expert work she has long focused on the field of industrial law, specializing in environmental, agricultural and livestock technologies. It is the efforts and creativity of the originators of innovative solutions in these areas that inspired her to become actively involved in promoting sustainable technologies and improving environmental care. She applies this motivation in the activities of the BIOEAST HUB CR, where she contributes with her experience to the development of the bioeconomy and innovation with a transfer to practice.
