In October, BIO2REG started the BIO2REG Exchange programme, which matches up regions at different stages of bioeconomy development. The programme will include mentoring, study visits, and tools to design a practical roadmap for the bioeconomy transition of participating region.

The programme is open to regional and local authorities, cluster organisations, innovation agencies, and research institutions in regions facing economic transition challenges — including coal, forestry, agriculture, fisheries, and pulp & paper sectors — are eligible. The application is open until November 13.
