The BEAMING project is proud to announce its nomination at the .EU Awards, organised by EURid. This recognition highlights the project’s growing visibility within Europe’s innovation landscape, particularly in the fields of bioeconomy, sustainability, and green transition. Both BEAMING and our communication and dissemination partner, Sustainable Innovations (SIE), were shortlisted for their outstanding work in driving engagement and impact across Europe.

THE BEAMING COMMUNITY
OF PRACTICE ROUND TABLE
|
|
|
|
|
As part of the BEAMING project, a round table of the Beaming Community of Practice titled “Bioeconomy – Current State and Challenges” was held on November 21, 2025, at the TTH Office at Educons University. The event brought together representatives from academia, industry, public institutions, civil society organizations, and bioeconomy experts with the aim of exchanging experiences, identifying obstacles, and developing joint initiatives.
One of the key conclusions of the event, which will also be put forward as a recommendation to colleagues at the National Center for Bioeconomy, is the need for stronger collaboration and improved connectivity among all stakeholders in the bioeconomy sector and research institutions.

BEAMING PROJECT PRESENTED AT THE
CCEDEP 2025 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

|
On October 29, 2025, the BEAMING project was presented at the 11th International Scientific Conference on Climate Change, Economic Development, Environment and People (CCEDEP 2025), held under the title “Economic, Security and Environmental Challenges of Regional Development” at the University of Donja Gorica in Podgorica, Montenegro. The event took place within the framework of the ACEU Annual Congress and gathered experts and researchers from across Europe to discuss sustainability and regional development challenges. Read more.

BEAMING AT THE PARTNERSHIPS FOR LEADING POLICIES TO GREEN ACTIONS CONFERENCE IN LJUBLJANA

In September 2025, Siniša Borota Green and Digital Transformation Programme Manager at IRI Institute, took part in a panel discussion at the international conference “Partnerships for Leading Policies to Green Actions” in Ljubljana, organised by the Centre of Excellence in Finance (CEF). The event gathered high-level representatives from international organisations and state institutions across the Western Balkans, Europe, and North America. Read more.

BEAMING AT THE THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL FAIR

In September 2025, the Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia (CluBE) hosted a BEAMING Networking Event within the framework of the Thessaloniki International Fair. The gathering brought together representatives from academia, industry, and local authorities to explore new synergies and opportunities in the bioeconomy sector. Read more.

BEAMING AT THE KNOWLEDGE VALORISATION WORKSHOP IN BUCHAREST

|
|
|
|
On September 20–25, 2025, representatives from the BEAMING project participated in the Knowledge Valorisation Workshop held at the National Institute of Research and Development for Biological Sciences in Bucharest, Romania. The event formed part of the Early Career Research Short-Term Visits initiative and gathered researchers and professionals working on bioeconomy and sustainability. Read More

THE UNIVERSITY OF BANJA LUKA HOSTS EDUCONS UNIVERSITY
|
|
|
|
|
From 28 to 30 September 2025, the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL) hosted representatives from Educons University (EDU) as part of the BEAMING project’s Work Package 8 – Knowledge Valorisation. The short-term mobility visit brought together EDU’s Jovana Kisin and Jelena Ješić with their UNIBL counterparts, including Milica Marić, Prof. Branimir Nježić, and Prof. Željko Vaško, to strengthen collaboration and share best practices in knowledge transfer.
