On 7 July 2025, the BEAMING project held its first official Review Meeting online, bringing together all project partners, the European Commission Project Officer Emanuela Galeazzi, and external reviewer Natasa Lovric from the University of Eastern Finland. The event marked a significant milestone in the project’s lifecycle, providing an opportunity to reflect on the progress made during the first 16 months of implementation and to gather valuable feedback from the European Commission and the expert reviewer.

We’re excited to announce the official launch of the BEAMING Knowledge Valorisation Community of Practice (CoP) — a vibrant, cross-European community created under the EU-funded BEAMING project. BEAMING PROJECT SHOWCASED AT THE EUBCE

On June 11, 2025, representatives from the Hungarian Innovation Agency presented the BEAMING project during the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) 2025, Europe’s foremost forum for scientific, industrial, and policy exchange on biomass, biocircularity, and the bioeconomy.
There, Zoltán Palotai presented a poster where he had the opportunity to explain the methods and activities behind the initiative. The event was a great opportunity for networking and exchange fuitful ideas in the framework of the bioeconomy. This year, the EUBCE brought together over 1,200 professionals from 55 countries to shape the future of bioeconomy, biocircularity, and Europe’s strategic autonomy.. Read more.

BEAMING PROJECT FEATURED AT THE
IWA RESOURCE RECOVERY CONFERENCE

|
|
|
Töltősi Milán and Palotai Zoltán, representing the Hungarian Innovation Agency, participated in the 6th IWA Resource Recovery Conference held in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. During the event, he presented a poster showcasing the BEAMING Horizon Europe project to an international audience engaged in sustainable water management and circular bioeconomy practices. BEAMING AT THE 3RD EUROPEAN GREEN CONFERENCE

|
|
|
|
We are proud to share that Ana-Marija Klarić and Marina Tišma have presented the BEAMING project at the 3rd European GREEN Conference (EGC 2025), held in Vodice, Croatia, from June 10–13, 2025.
The EGC brought together experts and scientists from a variety of fields, with nearly 400 presentations showcasing the value of a multidisciplinary approach in tackling climate change, environmental protection, and sustainable development. Read more.

EDUCONS UNIVERSITY HOLDS A STAKEHOLDER NETWORKING EVENT

Organized as part of the Educons University Board of Directors annual meeting, on June 25, 2025, Educons University hosted the BEAMING Stakeholder Networking Event – Connecting Academia, Industry, and Policy in Practice-Oriented Dialogue on Bioeconomy, in its ceremonial hall in Sremska Kamenica. The event brought together university leadership, professors, researchers, students, alumni, and representatives from industry and public institutions, with a common goal: to strengthen cooperation in addressing challenges and opportunities in the field of bioeconomy. BEAMING AT THE II CONFERENCE OF YOUTH IN AGRICULTURE OF REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA

At the Second Conference of Youth in Agriculture of Republika Srpska, which began on September 3, 2025, in Ribnik, the UNIBL team presented the BEAMING project. Young agricultural producers and agronomists are invited to join the local Community of Practice in the field of bioeconomy, which brings together diverse stakeholders: research and higher education institutions, agricultural holdings, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), policymakers and public administration, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), citizens, and other social groups. This network fosters the exchange of experiences, peer learning, and access to innovative technologies.

D5.1 Report on bioeconomy Quadruple Helix Innovation Ecosystems - It provides a comprehensive review of the needs and priorities of QH stakeholders in Widening Countries represented in the BEAMING consortium, so that bioeconomy research and education activities performed by Partner Education Institutes can be aligned with them.

D5.2 Report on Institutional Practices in Bioeconomy Research - It provides a comprehensive review of research policies, procedures, and practices of partner institutions, with a particular focus on bioeconomyrelated research and its tangible societal and economic impact.

D5.3 Report on capacity building in bioeconomy research - It presents the methodology used for data collection, the results of the needs assessment conducted among students and educators, the collaborative design approach, the structure and content of the training modules, and final conclusions drawn from the process.
